12 James Kenyon, b 1684-5; d 23 Sept. 1774, in Dutchess Co., N. Y.; m 1st., Mary, dau Thos. Place, 17 Dec. 1716; 2nd., Sarah, dau Benjamin and Abigail Gardiner, 22 May 1719.

1236 James Kenyon, b 6 Sept. 1779; d 14 Nov. 1853; m Susannah, dau David Palmer, d-, 1851, age 66 yrs. 

One of the pioneer settlers of Delaware County, N. Y.
settled in Delaware County in 1804.
Some of his children, and their descendants are buried in Sylvania PA.

Delaware County, N. Y. First son David Palmer Kinyon serves in the 144th Volunteer Infantry Co. I with his first cousin Johnson Wilson Kinyon. David Palmer Kinyon Dies at Regimental Hospital, Hilton Head, S. C. 13 Jan 1865 of remittent Fever. He is buried in Beaufort National Cemetery Beaufort,  Beaufort County, South Carolina
