Dies In carriage accident
Angeline Kenyon Dales died June 15, 1880 from injuries in a horse and carriage accident. Angeline married Orrin Dales (b. 18 August, 1818). They are shown on the 1880 census in Sylvania, Bradford, Pa. I have lost Orrin after that date. They had two children: Lucy Amanda Dales (b. 1847) married James McIntosh & James Alexander Dales (b 22 August 1850, died 18 April 1917), married Anna Eliza Morrell 5 March 1873. They are both buried Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY. James and Anna had two children: Mable Josephine Dales (b 17 August, 1877, d. 31 July 1972. She married Newton Emery Avery in 1902. They had one son Dale Reed Avery (b 30 June 1905, d 1 March 1984). Dale is my father. Angeline Dales (sister to Mable Josephine) was born in 1875. She married Walter Matthews. They are both buried at Woodlawn, Elmira,NY as is Mable and Newton Avery. The balance of my information is at home. I will get it together this weekend and send it to you Monday.
